Going on hiatus. Again.

… I made an entire post asking for future advice asks to be redirected to my personal blog…

I guess this is the first time I’m officially stating that I’m going on hiatus. I don’t know how long I’ll be gone for. But I really need to cool off.

About advice asks.

Christmas break is almost over, and I have some major assignments I should be doing before school comes back around next week. So I won’t have very much time to draw asks again.

That being said, nearly all the asks this blog has received are advice asks. Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love helping people; the very reason this blog was made was to try to cheer people up. But with my own personal affairs consuming my life, I won’t be able to give answers for these asks possibly until weeks or even months after they’ve been submitted, as was shown when this blog went on hiatus for awhile.

I don’t mean to sound selfish, but I - the person who draws all the answers and runs this blog on her own - am just a seventeen year old girl. I have my own personal issues to deal with, and to be perfectly honest, a lot of the problems that are being presented to me are things that are the sort of things I have absolutely no experience dealing with. Whatever advice I give through the trio is my own personal take on the situation. I’ve tried to stress before that this advice is something to consider, but ultimately, you should try to seek a more professional opinion on such matters.

Please, please, please, if you need help, seek professional help. DO NOT TAKE THE ADVICE THAT IS SUGGESTED TO YOU HERE AS THE ABSOLUTE SOLUTION TO YOUR PROBLEM.

I’m sorry if I made it seem like I’m some sort of professional when I answer these asks. I want to help, but there’s only so much that I can do through this blog. I’ve said so before, but if you need an immediate answer to your question, then PLEASE message me on my personal blog. It’ll give you a much quicker answer rather than you having to wait a long time for me to draw you an answer.

I’m so, so sorry if I’ve come off as being rude here. I just feel like I’ve had an added pressure thrown onto my shoulders to answer these asks when 1) I don’t have the time to answer them quickly, and 2) I’m not equipped with the professional experience necessary to handle the sorts of situations I’m being told about in these asks. I will answer the asks that are already in the ask box whenever I find the time to, but I’d really appreciate it if you’d direct any future advice asks to my personal inbox instead. I’ll try to help you out as much as I can.

So this blog has been open for more than a year now. We’ve had our ups and downs; asks which were really fun, and others which were pretty serious. We have over 970 followers now, and it’s just amazing to see how far we’ve come!

Not only has the art style improved,

From this,

To this.

But we’ve had our silly moments,

And times where we might not have gotten along.

We’ve had angsty moments,

And times where we’ve never felt so human before,

But in the end, we always come back smiling.

And we hope that whenever you come back, you smile too!!
